Finding Integration

Pixelplace Intake includes a Finder extension that allows you to open photo folders directly from the macOS Finder context menu.

Enable Finder Integration

To enable the Open in Intake command:

1. Open System Settings.
2. Go to Privacy & Security > Extensions > Finder Extensions.
3. Enable Finder Sync Extension.
4. In Finder, right-click a folder and confirm that Open in Intake appears in the menu.

Using Finder Integration

Once enabled, you can quickly start a curation session by:

1. Right-clicking any folder in Finder.
2. Selecting Open in Intake.

This will launch Pixelplace Intake (or open a new window if already running) with that folder loaded as your current project.
