Pixelplace Intake allows for a fast, keyboard-driven process to review large batches of images and sort them into specific categories.

Core Triage Workflow

Moving Photos Between Sections

You can categorize photos using either the thumbnail grid or the fullscreen viewer.

Keyboard Shortcuts

The fastest way to triage is using single-letter keys:

Drag and Drop

Alternatively, you can drag a thumbnail or selection directly onto the destination section header in the grid.

Fullscreen Viewer Triage

  1. Open the fullscreen viewer by clicking a thumbnail.
  2. Use the Left/Right Arrow keys to step through photos.
  3. Press T, C, K, E, or R to move the current photo to the corresponding section.
  4. Press Esc to return to the grid view.

Sorting and Ordering

You can choose how photos are ordered within each section via the View menu:

Note: Change and Raw are managed automatically by the app.

Managing Sections

Show and Hide

Click a section header to collapse or expand that section.

Display Settings

In Settings > Display, you can toggle Hide Header with Thumbnails, which controls whether the header text remains visible when a section is collapsed.
